Theme: Climate Change & Action
Our school celebrated World Environment Day with immense enthusiasm and a shared commitment to protecting our planet. This year, the event centered around the critical global theme of Climate Change, aiming to inspire immediate local action among our student body and faculty.
The day commenced with a powerful and thought-provoking awareness speech by our Principal. She highlighted the pressing realities of climate change, urging everyone to move beyond words and adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives. Adding grace and inspiration to the occasion, Sr. Francita, Local Manager of Assisi Province, addressed the gathering, emphasizing our collective responsibility to be faithful stewards of the Earth.
A key highlight of the celebration was the distribution of eco-friendly saplings to both students and teachers. To translate environmental awareness into immediate practice, a plantation drive was carried out. Students and teachers enthusiastically planted the saplings across the designated school grounds, taking a tangible step toward expanding our green campus and fostering a healthier ecosystem for the future.
The event successfully ignited a renewed spirit of environmental consciousness across the entire school community.
