World Oral Health Day 2021 | National Health Portal of India. World Oral Health Day is observed every year on 20th March.
It focuses on highlighting the benefits of good oral health, spreads awareness about oral diseases and promotes maintenance of oral hygiene.
This year, World Dental Federation (FDI) unveiled the three-year theme (2021 – 2023), ‘Be Proud of Your Mouth’ for World Oral Health Day (WOHD). The theme aims at motivating people to value and take care of their mouths and protect their general health and well-being by doing so.
As to support to this slogan we the students of ASSISI SCHOOL, Bangalore hosted a number of programmes to create awareness among students.
Few programmes as follows.
1. Interschool competition participation in poster making
Themes are as follows
Grade 6- “A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks”
Grade 7- “Smile and the world smiles at you”.
2. PPT presentation and video done by students
