THE MANAGEMENT
Assisi school is functioning under the management of the sisters of St. Francis of Assisi, Assisi province, Bangalore. It belongs to the congregation of school sisters of St. Francis of committed assisi which was founded in America in 1874 by sisters Alexia Holl, Alfons Schmid and Clara Seiter The sisters are committed to the call of God and are engaged in diverse ministries like teaching, nursing, special education and others forms of humanitarian services.
‘’The journey of thousand miles starts with single steps; so says Chinese proverbs. And so began the journey of Assisi school Bangalore. The plan that god had in mind from all eternity, took birth of June 1st 2010 as a tiny seed sowed in the heart of T.C Palya, K.R.Puram. Constantly supported by almighty God, the school was watered and nurtured by the persistent commitment, hard works and incessant efforts of the sisters and staff, encouragement and collaboration of parents, guardians and well-wishers. The school is on the process of being a mighty oak tree. It is an English medium Co-Ed school.
The school is lovingly dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of the sisters of St. Francis of Assisi. honoring him every student and staff member is encouraged inculcate in their lives virtues of faith, peace, love, joy, hope ,forgiveness and to be an instrument of harmony in today’s world.
